Meet Carolyn, Founder of Tidy Mint
Originally from Liverpool, England, I’m a longtime resident of the Upper West Side in New York City. After becoming a parent I was looking for a role that was both satisfying and flexible. Given my lifelong passion for tidying and organizing, I decided to combine this with my skills and strengths from my career in customer relations and client care and pursue a career as a professional organizer. Having the opportunity to complete training and certification with the KonMari™ team was a dream come true!
I know that for many people decluttering and organizing is a chore that they put off, sometimes indefinitely. For me it’s exciting and fun, so I always bring my positive attitude to the process along with the care and understanding that it can be tough. My role is to be there to support you throughout the whole journey.
The most rewarding part of working with my clients is witnessing the transformative power of decluttering and organizing in their lives. I love helping clients achieve harmonious, functional spaces that better serve their lifestyles.
In my spare time I enjoy running, horseback riding, soccer, and spending time with my family.

When my son’s closet became an area of my house I was starting to avoid and dread, I knew it was time to ask for help. Carolyn was able to gently encourage me to rethink the way I was using my current storage and her enthusiasm for beautifully folded clothes was so contagious that after our work together was finished, I went hunting throughout my home for more things that might need folding. I feel confident that the system we created together will grow with my son as his storage needs change over the years. - AW

I had the best experience using Tidy Mint. I recently moved into a new apartment and had an enormous amount of boxes to unpack and organize. In addition, there were many areas of the apartment that needed to be re-imagined. Carolyn worked so thoughtfully and efficiently to maximize space and invent creative solutions for our family. The systems she put in place were priceless and we have integrated so many of these organizational strategies into our every day life. Thank you so much, Tidy Mint! I can't recommend it enough!! - EH

I felt very comfortable having Carolyn in my space, she is so easy-going, pleasant and friendly, and very good at what she does. She actually LOVES TIDYING and was trained in the Kon Mari method. I found her visit to be an incredibly helpful first step at what had been overwhelming me for years, with two little kids at home throughout the pandemic we had clutter everywhere. She gets right to work and has a clear plan and vision about how to proceed. She helped me identify a need I didn't know I had, which was that I need a clear desk space that I can retreat to when I start my new project soon, and helped me create that space. She was nonjudgmental and positive, encouraging me about my organizational skills :) I really just needed someone to be there with me going through things and helping me decide what to keep, what to get rid of, where to put things, and how to make things look tidy, and I can say for sure that the nightmare of clutter would still be here if she had not come over to help me get moving on it. Her visit of just one day cascaded into an entire weekend of my husband and I continuing to clean out 8 years worth of stuff. It was great motivation and support and if I could, I would hire her full-time now :) - AS

Carolyn is wonderful!!! She helped me to de-clutter and organize my clothes, closets, kitchen cabinets, and provided the support I needed to let go of unused items. - GP
